This Privacy Policy explains how Clearweb (“Clearweb,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, build or edit a mobile application, preview or export a project, purchase a plan, connect a third-party service, publish an application, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from service providers that help us operate Clearweb.

Account and profile information

This may include:

• Name
• Email address
• Authentication identifiers
• Account settings
• Subscription plan
• Billing relationship
• Organization or workspace information

We use this information to create and secure your account, provide Clearweb, manage your subscription, provide support, and communicate with you.

We generally retain account information for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Projects and content

When you use Clearweb to create an application, we may process information such as:

• Prompts and instructions
• Chat messages and edit requests
• Application source code
• Project files
• Images and other assets
• App names, descriptions, settings, and metadata
• Generated code and other AI-generated output
• Navigation structures, screens, components, and project configuration
• Data or files you upload
• Information imported through services you connect
• Previous versions and project history

We use this information to generate, edit, save, preview, test, export, and otherwise operate your projects.

Your project content may be transmitted to third-party infrastructure and AI service providers when necessary to perform a generation, editing, analysis, preview, or other action that you request.

We do not sell project content.

Project information may remain associated with your account for as long as your project or account remains active and may remain temporarily in backups after deletion.

AI interactions

Clearweb uses artificial intelligence systems to generate and modify applications.

When you submit a prompt or request an edit, Clearweb may send relevant information to one or more AI providers. Depending on the request, this may include:

• Your prompt
• Relevant project files
• Existing application code
• Screens or components
• Project structure
• Images or assets
• Previous instructions
• Technical context required to complete the request

We attempt to provide AI systems only with information reasonably required to perform the requested operation.

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or otherwise unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing applications before deploying or publishing them.

Application preview and development information

Clearweb may use third-party development infrastructure to compile, bundle, preview, test, or run applications.

For example, Clearweb may use services provided by Expo, including Snack or related Expo infrastructure, to create web previews or allow applications to be opened on compatible mobile devices.

Information processed for these purposes may include:

• Application source code
• Dependencies
• Assets
• Project configuration
• Runtime information
• Build or bundling information
• Device or session information required to deliver a preview

Transaction information

If you purchase a subscription, credits, or another paid product, we may collect:

• Subscription plan
• Purchase history
• Billing status
• Invoice information
• Transaction identifiers

Payment information is processed by Stripe or another payment provider displayed during checkout.

Clearweb does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card number.

We use transaction information for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, customer support, and subscription management.

Financial and transaction records may be retained for as long as required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and other legal obligations.

Technical and usage information

We may automatically collect information including:

• IP address
• Browser type
• Device type
• Operating system
• Referring pages
• Application and page interactions

• Approximate country or region derived from your IP address

We use this information to operate Clearweb, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, improve reliability, understand feature usage, and improve the product.

We use this information to provide support, improve Clearweb, and maintain records of our communications.

Connected services

Clearweb may allow you to connect third-party services such as source control, databases, authentication providers, application publishing services, analytics services, storage providers, or other developer tools.

Depending on the integration, we may receive or store:

• Access tokens
• Connection identifiers
• API keys or credentials
• Repository information
• Project identifiers
• Account identifiers
• Data retrieved from or sent to the connected service

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to provide the connection and perform actions you request.

Examples may include connections to services such as GitHub, Supabase, Expo, Apple, or other providers made available through Clearweb.

You can remove supported connections through Clearweb where that functionality is available. You may also need to revoke Clearweb's access through the third party itself.

App publishing information

If Clearweb allows you to publish an application to an app marketplace, we may process information necessary to prepare or perform the submission, such as:

• Developer account information
• Application identifiers
• App metadata
• Store listing content
• App Review information
• Signing information
• API credentials or access tokens
• Build information

This information is used to perform publishing actions you request.

We may disclose the relevant information to Apple, Google, Expo, or another publishing or build provider at your direction.

Credentials or tokens stored by Clearweb should be encrypted or otherwise protected using industry-standard security measures and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the requested connection or service.

2. Why we use information

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal information for the following reasons.

Providing the service

We process information as necessary to:

• Create and secure accounts
• Generate applications
• Perform AI edits
• Save projects
• Compile and preview applications
• Export projects
• Connect external services
• Process purchases
• Provide customer support
• Publish applications when requested

Legitimate interests

We may process information where reasonably necessary to:

• Protect Clearweb and its users

• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business
• To another party when you explicitly ask or authorize us to do so

Advertising and sale of information

Clearweb does not sell personal information for money.

If Clearweb uses advertising technologies that constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable privacy laws, we will provide the disclosures and opt-out mechanisms required by those laws.

Project source code, prompts, assets, and generated application content are not sold to advertising companies.

If Clearweb uses advertising or campaign-measurement technologies, those technologies may process information such as campaign parameters, advertising identifiers, conversion events, or website interactions.

You may also be able to control cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of Clearweb from working correctly.

5. International transfers

Clearweb and its service providers may process information in multiple countries.

As a result, your personal information may be transferred to or processed outside the province, state, country, or economic region where you live.

When required by applicable law, we use appropriate mechanisms designed to protect international transfers, which may include contractual safeguards, adequacy decisions, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

6. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it is processed.

• Projects may remain while your account or project is active.
• Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups.

• Support communications may be retained to resolve disputes or maintain customer-service records.
• Connected-service credentials may be retained while the relevant connection remains active.
• Certain records may be retained where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Deleting your account may not immediately remove every copy of information from backups or records that Clearweb is legally required to retain.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

These measures may include:

• Encryption or protected storage for sensitive credentials
• Access controls
• Authentication
• Monitoring
• Logging
• Service-provider review
• Restricted access to production systems

No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are also responsible for protecting credentials, API keys, secrets, and other sensitive information used in applications you create.

You should not place secrets directly into client-side mobile application code where they could be exposed to application users.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

These may include the right to:

• Access your information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion
• Obtain a copy of your information
• Restrict certain processing
• Object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent

9. California privacy rights

This section applies to California residents where the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended, applies.

During the preceding 12 months, Clearweb may have collected the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers, such as your name, email address, account identifiers, IP address, or device identifiers.
• Commercial information, such as your subscription, purchases, billing status, or transaction history.
• Internet or electronic network activity, such as product interactions, device information, logs, and usage information.
• Approximate geolocation, such as a general country or region inferred from your IP address.
• User-provided content, including prompts, applications, source code, files, messages, and assets.
• Professional or business information where you provide it through your account or communications.
• Inferences generated from usage information where applicable.
• Sensitive personal information, such as credentials or API tokens you choose to provide when connecting external services.

Clearweb uses sensitive personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide requested functionality, protect the service, or otherwise as permitted by law.

California residents may have the right to:

• Know what personal information Clearweb collects
• Access that information
• Request correction
• Request deletion
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
• Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable
• Exercise privacy rights without discriminatory treatment

Clearweb does not sell personal information for money.

If Clearweb engages in activities considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, an appropriate opt-out mechanism will be provided.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information belonging to consumers under 16 years old.

10. Children

Clearweb is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

A higher minimum age may apply in your jurisdiction.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Clearweb in violation of applicable law, contact us at team@clearweb.agency so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

11. Applications created with Clearweb

Clearweb allows customers to create applications that may themselves collect information from people who use those applications.

Clearweb's Privacy Policy governs Clearweb's own collection and processing of information. It does not automatically govern the data practices of applications created by Clearweb users.

The creator or publisher of an application is responsible for determining what information their application collects and ensuring that the application complies with applicable privacy, consumer-protection, platform, and other laws.

Depending on the application, this may include:

• Providing an application-specific privacy policy
• Obtaining required consent
• Properly configuring analytics and advertising technologies
• Protecting authentication credentials
• Protecting user data
• Handling deletion and access requests
• Making required App Store or Play Store privacy disclosures
• Complying with laws relating to children or sensitive information

If you connect your generated application to Supabase, Firebase, an analytics provider, advertising service, payment service, API, or another third-party platform, the privacy practices of those providers may also apply.

Clearweb is not responsible for trackers, SDKs, APIs, databases, or other technologies that you independently add to your application.

12. Generated code and third-party services

Applications generated by Clearweb may include or interact with third-party software, libraries, APIs, packages, services, or open-source components.

Those third parties may have their own privacy policies and terms.

When you instruct Clearweb to connect an application to an external service, information may be exchanged with that service as necessary to perform your request.

You are responsible for reviewing the privacy and data-handling implications of third-party services before deploying an application that uses them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Clearweb changes or as legal requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy.

If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change becomes effective.
